Lecture
"What are we playing here!" conference: board games as media
We invite you to explore what lies within board games. Indeed, games are filled with representations of the world and the people in it. So what do they tell us? Is it only the images that are important? We will also look at gender representations through the example of several board games. This exploration is based on a media education tool, which allows us to examine the different facets of games!
Discussion
Discussion with Guillaume from Lucky Duck Games
How do you create and develop a transmedia game? Lucky Duck Games has been working for several years on the development of digital hybrid games. How does the public apprehend these new ways of playing? And what advantages can they bring?

Society of Game Authors Meeting
The Society of Game Authors (SAJ) will hold an open meeting during the Brussels Games Festival. The first half of the meeting will focus on general issues surrounding game creation and will offer to answer questions around SAJ's activities. Then, to follow the festival in its "Transmedia" theme, the second half of the meeting will be dedicated to a discussion around digital adaptations of board games.
