What is the BGF?

The Brussels Games Festival is the first summer festival dedicated to board games in all their forms and for the widest possible audience.

You can also buy your tickets at the festival entrance, if any are still on sale!

The price is €6 in presale and €7 on-site. Please note that the Saturday ticket also grants access to the night event.

Why is the BGF paying this year?

The festival team is made up of volunteers who give a lot of their free time to create an unforgettable festival. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but to ensure the festival’s continuity in the years to come, we had to resort to paid ticketing for this edition.

Why is the number of tickets limited?

Entries are limited for safety reasons linked to fire department regulations.

Are all festival exits final?

No, as long as you keep your wristband, you can re-enter the festival site.

You can return it at the exit, in which case you’ll receive tokens to take part in our survey.

Note that if you return the wristband, you won’t be able to get it back.

Can I give my named entry to someone else if I can’t go to the festival on one of the three days?

Yes, there’s no need to change the name on the seat, as the ticket includes a QR-Code that will be scanned on entry.

Until what time can we arrive or return for the Night of Games?

The last entry to the BGF on Saturday night is at midnight. After this time, you will have to wait until 10 a.m. on Sunday to re-enter. Those who stay can enjoy the Night of Games until 9 a.m.

Can I eat at the festival?

Yes, there will be FoodTrucks on the festival offering meals for different diets (Vegan, gluten-free, etc.).

What if I want to bring my picnic with me?

You can, there is no obligation to consume on-site. You can bring your own food and drinks from home if you wish (except glass bottles).

What methods of payment can be used at the BGF?

Cash and Bancontact/Contactless can be used at the entrance, in the bars and at the games market.

However there will be no Payconiq.

Is there a designated area for changing or breastfeeding infants?

Yes, a nursery is available in Local 5 in the Riverside zone. It is marked on the map by this pictogram.

You will find a water point, a microwave, a comfortable chair, and a changing table to make things easier for you.

Are animals allowed inside the festival grounds?

No, only assistance dogs are allowed at the BGF.

Will the festival be accessible to people with disabilities?

Yes, the festival site is accessible and adapted for people with reduced mobility.

What’s more, the BGthèque will be offering games adapted for the visually impaired.

Can I bring my own games to the BGF?

Yes, and you can offer games at the BG’Thèque tables, but you will need to manage your table yourself.

From Gare du Midi (Exit Nr 2), (direction CERIA) or (direction Humanité) get off at the Vétérinaire stop, which is right in front of The EGG.
From the CERIA parking lot, & (Direction Gare du midi) get off at the Vétérinaire stop, which is a 2-minute walk away.

Park-and-Ride parking lots

For those coming by car from the west side of Brussels, from Parking CERIA, Line Direction Hermann-Debroux get off at Beekkant (stay on the same platform) and change to the Metro or head for Elisabeth and get off at Gare du Midi.

For those coming by car from the east side of Brussels, from Parking Hermann-Debroux, take the Erasme line take the Erasme line – get off at Arts-Loi and take the metro towards Simonis or towards Roi Baudouin and get off at Gare du midi.
