Participation methods for sellers ( Drop-Sale)
During the game market, the Brussels Games Festival team makes available a drop-sale space at Espace Lumen, Chaussée de Boondael, 36 in Ixelles. If you have games that you want to resell, while enjoying the festival, it's possible! So you can entrust them to us, under the following conditions...
The sales area of the game market will open on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
A drop-off area managed by the BGF volunteer team will be available to you on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 5-8pm, Saturday, August 28 from 9-11am and Sunday, August 29 from 9-11am. You will also be able to drop off your games during the market's sales hours (12pm-6pm) but the wait time might be longer!
You drop off a maximum of 50 complete games in good condition. These must be viewable by the buyers. The BGF team declines all responsibility for the condition of the games sold. Without precision from the seller, any game deposited is considered complete..
Buyers must therefore be able to check for themselves whether the games are really complete and in good condition. To reduce the risk of losing parts, here are some tips for storing your games:
- Use a rubber band around the card packs
- Gather small pieces in resealable bags
- Use thermoforming wisely
- Put a rubber band around the box if it tends to open (not cellophane not sticky paper)
The organizers reserve the right to refuse to sell games that are damaged, incomplete or do not correspond to the spirit of a market dedicated to board games.
When you drop off your games, you will bring your games along with the form you can find here(Opens in a new window), pre-filled and printed. Please also email this form back to us before Thursday, August 26, 2021.
This year, the BGF is joining forces with the very young charity of passionate gamers "Meeple Solidaire" whose goal is to offer games to those who lost everything during the floods, via a game collection in particular.
We propose you to put your stone to the building by offering your unsold games at the end of the weekend. To do so, nothing could be easier: check the appropriate box on your form.
The vendor will be able to pick up their games and/or money won on Saturday or Sunday from 4pm to 7pm. The organization will take a commission of 10% on games sold only.
The BGF team is doing everything possible to ensure that the game market takes place in the best conditions. Nevertheless, we decline any responsibility in case of disappearance or deterioration of parts or boxes of games.
Games not collected at the end of the market will be kept in storage for a maximum of 4 weeks. To retrieve them, you will need to contact Charlotte at email@example.com. After this period, the games and money that have not been claimed will be considered as a donation to Ludiris asbl, organizer of the festival.
